Hi,

I just ordered my empeg unit (and suffering from severe insomnia untill it arrives ;-), but I might have overlooked something.

The "car" connector of the empeg unit only supplies 4V line out connections to be connected to an amp(s). However, the only line-in I have available resides on the internal cd/radio, which supports 1.5V (20Kohm imp.) max. I'm not that an electrical expert on this field, so I am kind of scared of just hooking it up and see what happens. Do I need some
kind of converter between the line out of the empeg unit and the line in of the car radio or can I simply connect them directly ?

I realise that installing a separate amplifier has great advantages in sound quality, but for several reasons this is not an option for me ;-(.

Thanks,

Erwin

Don't worry, It'll be fine. It might be a little louder than a 1v device, but it will be fine.
